Tiankara creations brand is a key driver of advocating for consumption of Kenya’s locally Made garments, thriving on the Buy Kenya Build Kenya initiative, a movement that promotes the Made in Kenya agenda and strengthens local garment production. Our model has demonstrated scalability and impact feasibility, creating jobs for women and vulnerable families across both rural and urban areas. In 2023 alone, we successfully dressed over 23,000 Kenyans from Nakuru county only, contributing to the growth of locally made fashion. This is a significant achievement, considering that only 5% of Kenyans currently wear locally manufactured garments.
